Concert Programs

The purpose of this program is to bring live music to people whose circumstances prevent them from enjoying live music performances. Hungry for Music has brought concerts to hospitals, homeless shelters, schools, and community centers.

Workshops

The purpose of this program is to bring music appreciation to children. These workshops vary in size and scope. Some examples include a drum demonstration, harmonica workshop, interactive music history lessons.

Creativity Workshops
The basic principle of Julia Cameron's book, "The Artist's Way" is that creative expression is the natural direction of life. Unfortunately for millions of children, their creativity is not cultivated because of numerous social problems and thus the critical development of self-esteem is impeded. Programs that aid disadvantaged young people in restoring their self-esteem by realizing their creative selves are desperately needed. A children's creativity workshop based on Julia Cameron's book, "The Artist Way" is currently in development.
