| As part of Hungry for Music's ongoing efforts to provide creative outlets for inner city children at risk, we have started an instrument donation program that will put musical instruments in the hands of kids who need them. This program arose from HFM's understanding that many children are unable to participate in school music programs because they can't afford to rent or buy an instrument. | ||||||||||

| Give your old instrument a second life in the hands of a child who really needs it. Chances are, you have an instrument in your attic that you no longer use. Maybe you studied music as a child. If so, you know the joy that music can give a child. The feeling of accomplishment that comes from learning to play music; the sense of pride, responsibility, and discipline that comes with owning and caring for an instrument; a real feeling of belonging in band or orchestra and learning to cooperate with others. | ||||||||||
Since 1994, Hungry for Music has brought the healing quality of music to thousands of people through it's musical instrument donations, concerts, and workshops. |
